Step up from the Coast Trail 16", and see the spec progress, just like the young rider in your life. The Coast Trail 20" 7 is built around a lightweight aluminum alloy frame and fork, but with the addition of a dependable and smooth-shifting Shimano 7-speed drivetrain - perfect for a growing rider who is able to get out for the ride to school, to the park or out on your neighborhood paths. LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM FRAMES & FORKS - Coast Trail models are all built upon lightweight Series 1 aluminum frames and aluminum forks. This ensures that your young rider won't be held back by a heavy bike, as a lighter bike is easier to control and balance. The weight savings goes beyond the frame, and we ensured that every component spec'd offers the best balance of weight to durability. KIDS-SIZED COMPONENTS - Kids are smaller all over, so our designers took that into consideration when designing the Coast Trails. Handlebars and grips are of smaller diameter than found on adult bikes, brake levers are specifically designed for smaller hands, and even the pedals and saddles are proportionally smaller. This helps kids maintain comfort and control while they are still developing their skills as riders. SMOOTH-ROLLING 2.0" TIRES - Smooth-rolling Marin x Vee Tire 2.0" wide tires are used on all Coast Trail models, with smooth center for easy riding on paved surfaces, and inverted tread on the sides for added safety when the paths are rougher.

We took our Matt Jones-inspired Marin San Quentin and shrunk it down to fit 20" wheels. It's the perfect bike for kids who are ready for their first proper, hardcore hardtail mountain bike. The Marin San Quentin 20", just like the big kid's version, shreds the boundaries of the mountain bike genres - doing it all with a huge splash of big air, speed and style. Designed with the input of freeride legend Matt Jones, the San Quentin takes the DNA of our dirt-jumping Alcatraz and mutates it into a go-further and faster all-round, hardcore hardtail. The San Quentin 20" will feel just like a 'grown up' mountain bike to your little ripper, built with a stout Series 2 aluminum frame, 20" wheels, an SR Suntour XCM suspension fork, 8-speed Shimano drivetrain and kid's specific hydraulic disc brakes. SERIES 2 ALUMINUM FRAME - San Quentin 24" and 20" both feature a Series 2 aluminum frame, with a tapered headtube, 3D forged dropouts, IS brake mounts, semi-internal cable routing and 135mm open dropouts. DIRT JUMP INSPIRED FRAME STYLE - Taking cues from the Alcatraz, as well as the full-size San Quentin lineup, the San Quentin 24" and 20" proved all the benefits of DJ style, with massive standover, slick frame tubes, and a hot paint job. MODERN TRAIL GEOMETRY - A slack headtube angle paired with a steep seat tube angle creates a ride that will fly uphill, yet descend like it's on rails. The balanced rider position is puts the rider weight between the wheels for steady climbing and handling on flats, while the slack front end helps to add higher speed stability through turns and rough patches. 1X WIDE-RANGE DRIVETRAINS - Modern 1x drivetrains, just like the larger San Quentins, give the rider the benefits of shifting simplicity and chain retention.

Meet the Hedgehog. This 16-inch kid's bike unlocks a whole new world to preschoolers. The lightweight, durable frame of this little rig is paired with modern geometry and a medium gear ratio, equally adept at climbing and winding it up on the way down. The Hedgehog is confidence inspiring—you'll watch your child progress quickly, easily rolling over obstacles that once seemed all-too-daunting. This bike features hand brakes, just like an adult bicycle, but sized perfectly for little hands. The package comes together in kid-loved and parent-approved colors. Cleary recommends measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart to ensure the best fit.  Before your child can read, they can rip. The Hedgehog 16 inch kid's bike unlocks a whole new world to preschoolers. We paired a lightweight frame with modern geometry to a medium gear ratio equally adept at climbing and winding it up on the way down. Nothing on this bike distracts your preschooler from learning to flow on her bike. As kids ride farther over more varied terrain, they become comfortable enough to try some tricks. This confidence translates to independence, adventure, and endless possibilities. We designed the Hedgehog with a freewheel, allowing kids much more rideability than a coaster brake. It's a big detail, which is a game changer for kids and features hand brakes, just like an adult bike, but small, durable, and created with little hands in mind. The Hedgehog is light and strong at just 16 lbs. out of the box. It's also backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. When your trail boss is ready to step up from a 12 inch bike, the Hedgehog 16 inch kids bike will reliably propel your 3 to 5-year-old rider as they climb to new heights, launch jumps, drop stairs and maybe roll around standing on the top tube. Fit Hedgehog is best fit for riders with an inseam of 17" to 21". First time riders feel safest with their bottom on the saddle and their feet flat on the ground. That's how a child with an 18" inseam will fit the Hedgehog with the seat post dropped as low as possible. Once kids get more comfortable on two wheels, they'll want to sit on the saddle with the balls of their feet on the ground. Thus, a confident rider with a 17" inseam and a first-time rider with a 19" inseam will each ride with about the same seat height.

The Meerkat brings a healthy dose of fun for your 7 to 10-year-old rider. The Meerkat 24 comes stock with a Sturmey Archer 5 speed trigger shifter paired with a 5-speed internally geared Sturmey Archer hub. This combination equates to quick, efficient shifts without the worry of chain drops or being out of gear. Disc brakes? Yep! The Meerkat's sealed hydraulic disc brakes (front and rear) stop surely, regardless of the weather. When they're ready for longer hours in the saddle, the front and rear rack mounts make adding a basket or rear rack a cinch and usher in a world of bike-packing opportunity. To determine the best fit, Cleary suggests measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart. - The Meerkat best fit for riders with an inseam of 22" to 26". - The Meerkat has a low bottom bracket height, which allows a rider with a 22" inseam to comfortably start out on the Meerkat. - The seat tube angle on the Meerkat allows the bike fit to grow along with the rider. - The seat moves up and back as you increase saddle height, so even a 5' tall rider will fit the bike well.

The ride to elementary school just got real! The Cleary Owl is a tough-as-nails freedom machine. The Owl comes with 20-inch wheels, this means it rolls fast over small obstacles and bigger jumps. Weighing in at just 19 pounds, the Owl has a freewheel and a rigid front fork paired with 20" all-terrain tires to give this little rig plenty of clearance. Bigger stair drops, wider jumps, and longer adventures. To determine the best fit, Cleary suggests measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart. The Owl is best fit for riders with an inseam measurement of 19-23". A rider with a 21" inseam will sit on the Owl with their bottom on the saddle, flat-footed on the ground with the seat at its lowest position. At that same saddle height, riders with a 19" inseam will happily sit with only the balls of their feet on the ground. As long as a child has an inseam of 19", their arms and torso are long enough so they can reach the handlebars comfortably.

When your early-grade-school adventurer is ready for their first foray into the excitement of shifting, it starts with the Cleary Owl. To determine the best fit, Cleary suggests measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart. - The Owl is the best fit for riders with an inseam measurement of 19-23". - A rider with a 21" inseam will sit on the Owl with their bottom on the saddle, flat-footed on the ground with the seat at its lowest position. - At that same saddle height, riders with a 19" inseam will happily sit with only the balls of their feet on the ground.
