Series 3 Aluminum Frame Rift Zone 1, 2, and 3 models feature Series 3 aluminum frames, with detailed forgings, highly manipulated tubes, and full internal cable routing, giving the rider a high feature and high-performing upgrade worthy platform. Multitrac Suspension Technology MultiTrac is an acclaimed suspension system, fine-tuned to have a balanced ride capable of absorbing big hits with an efficient pedaling platform. The rocker link provides a progressive leverage ratio for the rear shock for small bump sensitivity and the feeling of a long travel system on large drops and rocks. The Rift Zone 26 is built around our MultiTrac suspension system and is our most capable kids bikes ever, with all of the modern adult tech and trail geometry in a package for the younger rider. Lightweight 26" wheels and air tuned suspension lead to a fun bike out on the trail, equally at home on rolling hills or downhill singletrack. The days of compromised kid’s bikes are over. Air Suspension Easily adjustable air suspension is tunable for a growing kid. Internal Routing The Rift Zone 26 and Rift Zone Jr are compatible with internally routed dropper posts, with internal rear derailleur routing for a clean look and snag-free ride. Disc Brakes Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.

The Rift Zone 29 brings together trail-taming 29" wheels, 130mm of rear travel, a lightweight aluminum frame and our super-plush MultiTrac suspension platform for endless good times on the trails. "XR" means Extra Rad over here at Marin, and with that, the Rifty XR gets an extra spicy build. Starting out front, the fork is RockShox's supreme Lyrik Select+ model, now sporting 150mm of travel. Not wanting to leave the rear in the lurch, the Super Deluxe Select+ shock balances out the bouncy bits. SRAM's wide-range 12-speed GX Eagle drivetrain helps get the power to the rear wheel, while SB8 4-piston brakes offer impeccable braking performance. SERIES 3 ALUMINUM FRAME - Rift Zone alloy models feature Series 3 aluminum frames, with detailed forgings, highly manipulated tubes, and full internal cable routing with new braze-in ports, giving the rider a high feature and high-performing upgrade-worthy platform. INTERNAL ROUTING - Both carbon and alloy frames sport full internal cable/hose routing in the front triangle, and feature all-new brazed-in cable ports, providing a clean and rattle free cable set up. NEW CHAINSTAY/SEATSTAY PROTECTORS & UDH ON ALLOY MODELS - 2023 Rift Zone Alloy models have enhanced chainstay and seat stay protectors for a quiet ride, and utilize SRAM's Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) to help future-proof the frame.
